About
Michelin-starred, The Fordwich Arms is set in the historic Kent town of Fordwich, officially England’s smallest town.
Positioned beside the beautiful River Stour, the pub features a charming 1930s bar and an oak-panelled dining room with three open fires. Since Daniel and Natasha Smith took ownership in 2017, The Fordwich Arms has become firmly established as one of the country’s finest restaurants.
Guests can enjoy lunch or dinner in the characterful old pub building or, during the summer months, on the riverside terrace. The seasonal menus celebrate provenance and the very best of Kentish produce, sourced directly from local farms and suppliers. Dan’s cooking is refined yet approachable, served in a relaxed pub setting with both à la carte and tasting menu options.
